REIGNING FISH, by all measures, my largest commission in 15 years was completed and installed in June 2022 in a beautiful home on Walloon Lake in Michigan.

This work is comprised of 55 hand-painted, stainless steel fish suspended 14 feet above the floor. The piece is intended to simulate stringers of fish safely held after being caught. Of course, the title is a double entendre for, while the work appears to be “raining” fish, it is named for the Queen fish which is covered in 24k gold leaf and crowned. She is the Reigning Fish.
