This work is comprised of 20 separate pieces of stainless steel welded together to make the image of a dancer on point. Curiously, all but two of these pieces are triangular in shape. Save for a rectangle and a disc no other shapes are used.
The first image is taken of the work at its initial installation. Subsequently, Stainless Steel Dancer was relocated to its current and more prominent location with illumination for nighttime viewing.
