Rosa La Rouge, pen and ink and oil (after Toulouse-Lautrec) (14×28) [Feb 2014]
This work is my homage to Toulouse-Lautrec who painted this woman in a work by the same title. Lautrec’s painting was of the subject’s right profile while mine is inverted and shows the left profile. Lautrec’s painting hangs in the Barnes Foundation collection in Philadelphia.
