Not far from our home in southeastern PA is beautiful estate with wonderful gardens and landscaping. It is called Chanticleer Foundation Gardens. On a visit to this gorgeous spot in October 2012 with a group of friends, I snapped a photo of this immense urn fountain.
This is my second painting from a photograph. See below my oil painting of the urn fountain and its lush surroundings. The monochromatic imprimatura captures light values and precedes the finished work.
