Using a series of equal-sized pieces with a total lineal dimension of 14 feet, I created this stainless steel trefoil knot. As more than a few have noted, this work bears a striking resemblance to actual bamboo with the welds akin to growth joints on the stalk. For this reason I will be painting this work to simulate live bamboo.
