Wave is one of those sculptures the design of which takes an unforeseen but serendipitous detour. See the end result below. Wave is 9 x 12 x 44. It is made of heavy, 2-inch wide, forged copper bar. The copper wave emerges from a recession in the floating basswood base, rises to a crest, collapses and then recedes back into the wood of the base.
Wave is now held in a private collection in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
