My love of the trefoil knot and an occasional dip into abstract expression inspired this work. 12 feet of stainless steel strapping at 1/8 inch thickness and a half inch width can be unwieldy even if the length is divided into three pieces. I formed the knot and with all the excess stainless I attempted to fashion the work into an abstraction of a man on horseback.
